↗About me
Kaiako of Mathematics
Tēnā koutou katoa. Ko Ewan Gee tōku ingoa. I am a Provisionally Certificated Teacher specialising in mathematics, committed to fostering curiosity, rigour, and joy in mathematical thinking for all ākonga.
My teaching practice is grounded in a belief that every learner can succeed in mathematics when given the right environment, relationships, and tools. I draw on a range of pedagogical approaches — from structured inquiry to explicit instruction — always guided by the needs of the learners in front of me.
This portfolio is a living record of my growth as a beginning teacher. It contains lesson plans, student work samples, observations, and honest reflections on what is working and what I am still developing.
